We are seeking a part-time, combined Music Director/Accompanist (6-8 hours/week) to lead and shape a dynamic music ministry that honors God and invites us to worship and serve.

Position Details:
Classification: | Non-exempt, part-time employee. |
Position: | This is a combined Music Director/Accompanist position. |
Reports to: | Pastor. |
Supervises: | Special music, ensembles, choir and additional volunteers. |
Work hours: | As determined in conjunction with the Pastor, but generally 6-8 hours per week, including Sunday Worship, music ensemble practice or special choir rehearsals, plus special services, including but not limited to Christmas Eve and Holy Week services. |
Pay Rate: | $195.00 per week. |
Pay Period: | Paid monthly on the 15th of each month by direct deposit. |
Time sheet: | Hours worked are to be recorded on a time sheet which must be signed and submitted to the Pastor every month for approval. |
Benefits: | This position is not eligible for health insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, pension or severance. |
PTO: | The Music Director is paid for three weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year. PTO does not rollover to the following calendar year. Missed weeks after three will not be paid. |
Funerals: | The Music Director can be paid for working funerals as needed at a rate of $150 per service. |
Weddings: | Music Director shall receive compensation as negotiated with the wedding party. |

- Pass a background check
- Experience in church music
- Strong piano skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in music
- Familiarity with music software
- Strong vocal skills
- Some knowledge of world music
- Ability to play a variety of music styles
- Ability to play a variety of musical instruments, such as Clavinova
