Come to pray this Wednesday, February 22 at 7pm as we recognize the start of Lent. This will be an informal worship service where you will be invited to pray creatively through journaling, creating a beaded bracelet, lighting candles, meditating on Scripture, considering action steps, or by simply sitting in the stillness of the hour. If you come to worship in the Sanctuary, you will have an opportunity to receive ashes.
Pastor KJ will lead us in a brief meditation on the Promise of Work and Rest as given in the creation story as we open our new sermon series “Standing on the Promises.“
If worshiping from home, consider gathering the following:
- Bible
- Pen/Journal
- Beads or creative elements (you will need 7 beads, one for each promise we will study)
- Candle
